Our Child Protection Policy

no-excuse.jpg

At Comfy Care12, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy against child abuse. Our Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Harassment (PSEH) Policy ensures children in our care are safe, and we fully comply with Tanzanian laws, including the Law of the Child Act 2009, to create a safer environment for all.

In rural areas, limited access to education on children’s rights, child protection laws, and gender equality leaves many families unaware of legal protections or the harms of abuse. Girls are especially vulnerable, often kept at home for domestic labor or early marriage, making them more susceptible to abuse. Isolation in rural areas further complicates access to help and support. Without local advocacy and protection programs, abuse often goes unaddressed.

We are committed to raising awareness, improving education and legal access, and strengthening community support to protect children and promote their well-being.
