Kisasa Secondary School Dodoma Region
Comfy Care 12 provided menstrual health and hygiene education sessions and reusable pads to 160 girls at Kisasa Secondary School.
Educational ddiscussions included real-life experiences, with many girls sharing challenges like lack of access to menstrual products due to financial constraints.

Through the training, Comfy Care12 emphasised the significance of hygiene during menstruation, encouraging girls to wash, dry, and reuse their pads properly.

The team also addressed common myths surrounding menstruation, aiming to eliminate stigma and raise awareness about menstrual health and hygiene.

In addition to regular hygiene practices, the training included discussions on the psychological impact of menstruation, such as fear of embarrassment and lack of support from family and teachers, which can affect girls' academic performance.
The project underscored the role of schools, teachers, and parents in supporting girls' education during menstruation.
By providing sustainable solutions like the locally manufactured reusable pads, Comfy Care12 contributed to improving both the health and educational outcomes for girls in rural Tanzania, ensuring they can attend school with confidence and dignity.
